Jnana MeditationJnana means wisdom. The purpose of this meditation is to get enlightened. The technique adopted here is not to concentrate on an object or sound but to reflect on a series of queries posed by the meditator himself. The nature of the questions are such that he may not be able to find answers for all. However, he is expected to think over them seriously. No special posture is required and this can also be practised in all places, at any time and in any posture. The questions generally posed in this meditation are:
Ask as many questions as possible and of all varieties. There is no necessity to have any order in these questions. The more we ask the more we get enlightened on so man) things. When we look at things from the broader perspective of the universe, we are greatly humbled. This will definitely bring us peace of mind. All problems of humanity at large emerge from the fact that everyone thinks he is superior to others in one way or the another.
