Colon Cleansing - Basti

In this exercise, water is drawn into the bowels through the anus and then expelled.

This can be accomplished quite easily in a flowing river

While standing in the water it is necessary to perform Uddiyana Bandha and Nauli via which the water enters the bowels and also churns the bowels in such a way that the water gets mixed with stools and cleans the bowels thoroughly. The exercise should be repeated four to five times. After this, perform Mayur Asana so that the residue water, stools and wind are removed completely.
